There is constant controversy over the figure of a plus-sized woman. Women like Tess Holiday and Ashley Graham are doing their part to try to change this, but just like many other controversies, I think it will be a long while before every body is accepted for the shape and size it is.
Most recently I saw an Instagram post talking about crop tops and the fact that only “thin” girls should wear them. My response…
A crop top can be worn by whomever wants to wear it. And should be worn in whatever way that person chooses to wear it.
There are so many things going on in the world that the sight of a woman over size 14 wearing a crop top should not be a concern….
Besides in a while crop tops, like many other fads, will be over….I vote bringing back baggy sweaters and yoga pants. Warm and comfortable.
Enjoy your crop tops ladies. 🙂
Beautiful! I think my response to that notion was something like “lololol, nope.” Big girls, small girls, all girls can wear whatever makes them feel amazing.

Thank you Rebecca. I completely agree. So much energy is spent on the way someone looks rather than who that person is. The world will never be perfect but hopefully we will stop using appearance as a form of judgement and approval. 😀
