My friend Gabby is such a great girl. She has the sweetest character and bright blue eyes to die for.
She isn’t much for makeup so I decided to try my best to give her a bit of a New Years look.
Black eyeshadow with a silver glitter eyeshadow brushed on top. I used a blending brush to smoke out the look and then gave her a nice winged liner (I have realized it is so much easier to do a wing on someone else than it is do my own).
We finished off the look with Tarte Amazonian clay 12 hour foundation a light contour using the Anastasia Beverley hills kit and covergirl’s outlast lipstick.
My makeup look wasn’t planned out very well. Truthfully I was in kind of a funk for most of the day and couldn’t for the life of my decide what to wear which didn’t really help the overall mood but I sucked it up, popped a bottle of bodacious smooth red and got to it (if you haven’t had a glass of Bodacious Smooth Red yet…I suggest you put it on your 2016 resolution list).
I started with the Tartelette Amazonian clay palette and patted the colour Fashionista onto m lid then moved into a shimmer eyeshadow. I bought it from Ardene’s a long time ago and the name came off so I don’t have the name but it’s kind of a blue black shimmer shadow. I used the NYC Mauve palette and blended the burgundy shade into my crease. I can’t live without doing a winged liner now and I took a chance and even did falsies (I magically got them right the first time).
I hope everyone had a wonderful, fun new years eve. and I hope 2016 is everything you hope it to be.
I’m thinking about adding video tutorials for my makeup posts soon. Yay? or Nay? Any personal opinions or words of wisdom would be great thanks guys
